Driver III-Linen Delivery-Timmins, ON

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services and CreeQuest are looking to hire experienced Linen Delivery Drivers for a remote lodge near Timmins, Northern Ontario.

DZ Class license is required, as well as updated WHMIS and Ontario Worker Health & Safety certificates.

The Driver III will be primarily responsible for loading and unloading of a 20 foot c-can with the use of a tandem tilt deck while following all truck/vehicle safety procedures.

Criminal background checks, drug and alcohol checks and drivers abstract are conducted. Comprehensive benefit packages are offered.

Transportation to site is provided out of Timmins or Cochrane, Ontario - travel allowance is available for some areas that are further away. However, local candidates are preferred who are familiar with the area;

Successful candidates should have some experience in the remote or commercial industries. Rotation schedules are typically 2/2, though a 1/1 may be available.

• Responsible for the loading, unloading, and setup of equipment on a daily basis while following all truck safety procedures
• Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a clean, neat appearance to represent the company
• Deliver equipment and food product as specified by daily event/order schedules
• Clean all vehicles and equipment after use
• Fuel vehicles as necessary
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports
• Report necessary maintenance or repairs on equipment and vehicles to Managers in a timely manner
• Maintain storage rooms in an orderly fashion
• Maintain and upkeep cleanliness of equipment and all other supplies
• Perform all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, road signs, and company safety policies and procedures
• Report moving violations that are received on or off duty to manager immediately
• Perform opening and closing side work as needed
• Work in other areas or departments as needed

• AZ/DZ Class license is required along with drivers abstract no longer than 3 months old since time of application
• Must be able to drive a standard transmission
• Must be able to install tire chains in inclement weather
• Must be able be able to maintain daily log book
• Must be able to load and unload trucks, to meet the needs of the business.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions

Physical demands including, but not limited to minimum of 10 hours a day, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
